How much difference can a small utility vehicle really make in a working day? At Nordnes Kro og Camping, the answer is quite a lot. Paxster has made the cleaning work easier, less physically demanding and more efficient.

An investment that makes a difference every day

Since Nordnes Kro og Camping got its Paxster, the working day has become both more efficient and less physically demanding for the employees.

Before, everything had to be transported by hand

Before Paxster arrived at Nordnes, much of the transport was done on foot. The cleaning staff pushed or pulled trolleys loaded with cleaning supplies between the cabins. But there was a limit to how much they could bring with them at a time.

“I had to walk back and forth many, many times to get a new rug, duvet or fresh bed linen,” says Vatchara “Meiji” Chaiyapol, who has worked as a cleaner at Nordnes since 2021.

Her colleague Palida Kaewklang knows the feeling well.

“Some days it took a lot of time. The days were long, and I did a lot of walking.”

And when the trolley was filled with used bed linen, it became heavy too. Suphan Phanthama says she used to pull the trolley around the campsite until her arms ached.

Now they can carry more in one trip

With Paxster, much of the manual transport has disappeared. The cleaning staff can load up cleaning supplies, duvets, pillows, bed linen and everything else they need, and drive between the cabins.

That means fewer trips back and forth, but perhaps even more importantly: a less physically demanding working day.

“I save so much time. It makes the job less physically demanding, and we’re not as tired in our arms and legs at the end of the day,” says Meiji.

Suphan highlights the same difference:

“The Paxster has helped me a lot and saved me so much time. My arms don’t hurt anymore.”

At a campsite, there are countless tasks to take care of every day, and plenty of things that need to be moved from A to B. At Nordnes, Paxster has become a practical work tool that makes these everyday tasks a little easier.

Less time spent on transport and fewer heavy trips mean more time for the job itself – and a little more energy left at the end of the working day.
