On May 20th, 2025 marked a major milestone for all of us at Paxster. After months of planning and construction, we proudly opened the doors to our brand-new factory at Kampenes in Sarpsborg — a significant step forward for our growth, our commitment to sustainability, and the future of Norwegian mobility manufacturing.

 

A celebration with strong support

We were honored to welcome both national and local representatives to the opening ceremony. Among those who gave inspiring speeches were Norway’s Minister of Climate and Environment, Andreas Bjelland Eriksen, Østfold County Mayor Sindre Martinsen-Evje, and the Mayor of Sarpsborg, Magnus Arnesen. Together with Hans Kristian Torgersen, representing our owners in the HTS Group, they took part in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

 

It was truly inspiring to hear Paxster recognized as a leading example of Norwegian innovation and sustainable industry in action.

Built for capacity, flexibility, and growth

Our new facility spans over 3,800 square meters and currently employs 56 people. With this expansion, we’re fully equipped to scale production in line with growing demand. This investment is about more than buildings and machines — it’s an investment in the future. With the new factory operational, we’re better positioned than ever to serve international markets and partners.

Social sustainability in action

For us, growth isn’t just about numbers — it’s about people. Through our 2ndChance program, we offer young individuals outside of the workforce meaningful work experience and a chance to build confidence in a safe, supportive environment. We’re proud that this initiative now has a visible role at our new site.

We’re also pleased to share that our products now carry the official “Made in Norway” mark — a trusted symbol of Norwegian quality and craftsmanship. It sends a clear message to our global partners about who we are and what we stand for.

With this new chapter, we’ve created a foundation for continued growth — not just for Paxster, but for Norwegian green industry as a whole. We’re excited to keep moving forward, together with our partners, customers, and talented team members at home and around the world.
