As caretakers on a large farm that includes both a school and a boarding facility, they were looking for a vehicle capable of handling a variety of tasks both easily and smoothly. The Paxster turned out to be just what they needed!
“What first caught our attention was its practical design that made it easy to handle and transport equipment and goods around the large area. The automatic handbrake was especially useful for us, as we make many starts and stops over short distances throughout the day,” says Knut Harald Nilsen, caretaker and boarding staff at Tomb Agricultural School in Råde.

The storage options at the front near the windshield are a feature he highlights as particularly practical. “We always have tools and equipment readily accessible there,” he says.
Paxster is impressively robust
He describes the Paxster as extremely robust and a machine that handles rough terrain well, which was crucial for simplifying their workday. They needed a vehicle that could handle surfaces like gravel, wet soil, and forest paths, and that is also road-approved. “We mostly drive on gravel and light soil, but having the option to also drive in light forest terrain and especially to enter stables and barns without disturbing the animals is absolutely great.”

Olav was happy and satisfied as he drove around in a Paxster for the first time.
At Tomb Agricultural School, an annual “Open Christmas Farm” event is held where several thousand people visit the farm during the day. Here, the Paxster Stretch served as a reliable and quiet service vehicle during the event.
“The fact that it also performs well in winter is a big plus for us. Since the weight is distributed as it is, it provides very good traction that compensates for the lack of four-wheel drive.”

The battery capacity is incredibly good
Knut Harald highlights the battery capacity and explains how it perfectly suits their needs, with short driving distances and little need for maximum speed. “All in all, the Paxster Stretch has been an invaluable resource for our caretaker team, and we cannot recommend it enough to others facing similar challenges,” concludes Nilsen.
