The Enova grant for Paxster ends 30 June 2026 – here’s what you need to know

If you live in Norway and are considering buying a Paxster, there’s a financial incentive you should know about. Private individuals can currently receive NOK 25,000 back from Enova when purchasing a new Paxster vehicle. However, this scheme closes on 30 June 2026. Here’s everything you need to know.
What is the Enova grant?
Enova is a Norwegian government enterprise working to accelerate the transition to a low-emission society. As part of this mission, Enova offers grants to private individuals who purchase electric vehicles in the L7e category — a vehicle class that includes all Paxster models.
The grant amounts to NOK 25,000 and is applied for directly through Enova after the purchase is completed.
Who is eligible?
The grant is available to private individuals only. Businesses, municipalities, and other organisations do not qualify for this particular scheme.
To be eligible, the vehicle must be new and classified as category L7e.
How do you apply?
The process is straightforward and takes only a few minutes:
- Purchase your new Paxster through an authorised dealer
- Visit enova.no and find the application form for electric vehicle purchases
- Fill in your purchase details and upload your receipt
Why is the grant ending?
Enova regularly adjusts its support schemes based on market developments and government priorities. From 1 July 2026, the grant for L7e category vehicles will no longer be available.
What happens after 30 June 2026?
Paxster remains a sound investment after the grant expires. The vehicles are built for daily professional and private use, with low running costs, minimal maintenance requirements, and a 10-year battery warranty. For many buyers, the numbers still add up — especially when compared to fossil-fuelled alternatives.
