Customer stories
At Visit Lindesnes, the electric Paxster vehicle has taken on a new and unexpected role. In collaboration with Lindesnes Havn KF, the vehicle is used by seasonal hosts, who serve as both harbour attendants and tourist ambassadors throughout the summer season. While many recognize the Paxster as a postal vehicle, here it functions as a mobile tourist office and a hands-on support tool in daily interaction with both marina guests and visitors to the region.

Delivering bread rolls to boaters and brochures to tourists
Paxster is more than a way to get from A to B. In Mandal and the surrounding area, it has become a key part of everyday operations. The vehicle is used to distribute bread rolls and newspapers to marina guests, and it’s frequently spotted at local events or outside businesses – stocked with brochures for tourists to help themselves.

“The Paxster is small and easy to get around with, especially in the harbour. It has plenty of room for brochures in the back compartment and is very simple to drive.”

A tourist office on wheels
The desire to stay visible and accessible out in the field – while also visiting local tourism partners – made Paxster a natural choice. The vehicle gives Visit Lindesnes the freedom to stay flexible, mobile, and present where things are happening.
Paxster fits perfectly into its role as host, messenger, and information point – all in a quiet, agile, and environmentally conscious way, aligning well with the organisation’s green profile.

Going the distance on a single charge
One of the biggest surprises for Visit Lindesnes has been the impressive range and low operating costs. Despite its compact size, the Paxster performs just as well on longer routes as it does in city settings – offering much more than just a short-trip solution.
“We’ve driven it all the way from Mandal to Båly and back – over 70 kilometers in total – and the range has been remarkably good. The running costs are also lower than we expected.”
Sandra Gjertviksten, Visit Lindesnes

During our contact with Visit Lindesnes, it became clear what the driver values most in day-to-day use: the solid range, the practical storage space in the back, and how quick and easy it is to get in and out of the vehicle.
