Customer stories
When Skien Municipality was looking for an electric vehicle to replace their existing service car, they chose the Paxster. After a year and a half, they have no regrets. We asked them why.
Saving time and the environment
Since acquiring the Paxster, it’s clear that they’re saving both time and helping the environment, says Bård Rougthvedt. He is Operations Manager for machinery management in the Department of Urban Development, Operations, and Culture at Skien Municipality. They are very pleased to avoid fuel costs and, most importantly, to spare the environment from unnecessary emissions.
“We see that the Paxster also has several areas of use, and going forward we envision using it for larger events in the city as well.”

Bought a re-used Paxster on Finn.no
To be even more mindful of both costs and the environment, Skien Municipality wanted to explore what small used vehicles they could find. And what could be more natural than starting the search on Norway’s largest marketplace for buying and selling cars — Finn.no? That’s where they discovered the Paxster 2ndDrive. These are Paxsters that have been bought back, stripped down completely, and rebuilt using a mix of new and used parts. It was an option that met their needs perfectly, so the choice was easy.
An easier everyday life with Paxster
Those who use the Paxster are particularly happy with how easy it is to get in and out of. It’s simple to load and unload both parts and goods. The fact that the vehicle takes up so little space means it can be parked inside the workshop itself when not in use.
Plans to use Paxster for larger events
Originally, they were looking for an electric vehicle they could use for collecting parts and repairing machines and equipment within their area. In addition, they wanted something for picking up goods from local suppliers. ‘We see that the Paxster also has several areas of use, and going forward we envision using it for larger events in the city as well,’ says Rougthvedt.
