Our history
Our journey began in 1919, when Ludvig Andreas Thorgersen started producing saddles—laying the foundation for HTS Group, known today for brands like BeSafe (child car seats) and Packline (roof boxes), all built with safety at their core.
In 1994, Loyds became part of HTS Group, continuing its legacy of innovation. For years, Loyds had been a trusted supplier to Norway Post, providing high-quality van interiors and storage solutions. When Norway Post set ambitious environmental goals, Loyds saw an opportunity to create a vehicle that would help them achieve those targets.
Together, they set out to develop a vehicle that prioritized efficiency, sustainability, and ergonomics. After extensive testing and refinement, the first Paxster was born – 100% tailored for sustainable and efficient last-mile delivery.
To ensure a modern, functional and recognizable design, we teamed up with Eker Design, which led to us winning both the “Award for Good Design” and the “Honorary Award for Good Design” in 2013. Later that year, Paxster went into production, and by 2015, it became its own company.
Today, Loyds remains our sister company and largest supplier, continuing to support us in delivering innovative and high-quality solutions.
As Norway’s only vehicle manufacturer, we continue to push boundaries in efficiency, ergonomics, and sustainability – developing smarter solutions for a greener and more efficient future.
