Gave a Paxster to The Church City Mission

At Paxster we are lucky enough to be able to donate a Paxster vehicle to a charity organization every year. Last year, the Salvation Army received a vehicle, and this year it was The Church City Mission that won.

We received a number of nominations from customers and employees on who should receive this year’s donation, but it was Gunnar Brudeli who nominated the winner and he was also very happy that his suggestion was the one that won.

“I thought of The Church City Mission right away and then it was just a matter of sending in the suggestion. I think it’s great that Paxster donates a vehicle every year,”

Gunnar Brudeli, Nominator

The Church City Mission is an inclusive, nonprofit organization, which works in towns and cities across Norway, among people who face challenges in life for various reasons. Their vision is that people in the city shall experience respect, justice, and care.

“We will use the Paxster to deliver food, transport equipment, and transportation to meetings. We are incredibly grateful for this!”

We are very proud that an annual donation is part of our strategy and vision to contribute to creating a better world for the next generations. It feels so good to be able to contribute to all the important work that is done in our society, says Cathrine Lund at Paxster.

“We hope and believe that the Paxster will be able to contribute to the important work of The Church City Mission.

Reused vehicle

The vehicle is a Paxster 2ndDrive, which means it has been in use for 4-6 years and then bought back. The vehicles are then stripped down, renovated, and built back again. This is part of the company’s circular business strategy and the fact that the vehicles are reused with close to 97%, has a huge environmental benefit and will be a great contributor til The Church City Missions’ environmental goals.
